Swansea Grand have announced that Wales’ first-lady of the cabaret and pantomime circuit Ceri Dupree will star as Ugly Sister alongside Ian H Watkins as Dandini and returning Grand favourite Kevin Johns, who plays Ceri’s sister in the must-see pantomime, Cinderella, from Friday 14 December.

Ceri has been delighting audiences worldwide for almost 30 years with his unique talents which have seen him perform in musical theatre, pantomime, summer season, television and cabaret in the UK and across the world.
Ceri has appeared in West End nightclubs, including the Café de Paris, Talk of London, the Stork Club, Le Beat Route, Ronnie Scott’s and Pizza on the Park. He appeared twice nightly, six nights a week (and never missed a show!) for two years at the world-famous, Madame JoJo’s in London’s West End. His extensive repertoire of theatre shows include Hello, Dolly!; Rock Hard, a 60s tribute show; Hot Stuff, a 70s tribute show (five seasons and two national tours); The Ultimate Hen Party (season and national tour); The Wizard of Oz (as the most glamorous wicked witch!) and The Rocky Horror Show as Frank-N-Furter.
In addition to performing Ceri has written and produced his own shows including Extraordinaire, Ladies of Legend, Brenda: a Star Is Torn, Eager Divas, The Ceri Dupree Spectacular, Dupree’s a Crowd!, Totally Frocked Up! and Miss-Leading Ladies. This weekend Ceri will play Swansea Grand with his brand new show, Immaculate Deception where he will impersonate a host of well-known personas as only Ceri can.
His pantomime credits are plentiful, and the last few years have seen him appear at the Birmingham Hippodrome, Theatre Royal, Plymouth, Theatre Royal, Nottingham, the New Theatre in Cardiff, Mayflower Theatre in Southampton, the Royal and Derngate in Northampton, the Orchard Theatre in Dartford and the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton. This year’s production of Cinderella marks the first time Ceri will have starred in Swansea’s biggest and most-lavish pantomime.
Cinderella will be once again be produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s biggest pantomime producer and the team behind the annual Grand Theatre pantomime.
