Doomed to lose their circus, can Gertie (Allan Stewart) and the Ringmaster (Andy Gray) save their Big Top from the clutches of evil impresario Vladimir Heinkel (Grant Stott). It might just take three amazing bears to join the circus and save the day. With magic, music, mayhem and plenty of porridge, run away to the circus next Christmas and book your tickets to Goldilocks, the pantomime that’s just right!

Goldilocks and the Three Bears first came into being as a pantomime in a version penned by W.S. Gilbert (Gilbert & Sullivan) and performed at the Lyceum Theatre London in 1867. The story was first set in a circus in 1925 in Howard & Wyndham’s Goldilocks and the Three Bears at the King’s Theatre Edinburgh, starring Eve Lynn and Tom D. Newell. The production focussed on the rivalry between two circus owners- one evil and one good - and as they say in show business, ‘if it ain’t broke’…. Last seen as the Kings’ panto in 2007 starring Allan Stewart, Grant Stott, James Mackenzie and Tweedy, it’s a very warm welcome back for the classic Goldilocks.

Michael Harrison, Managing Director of Qdos Entertainment, producers of the show said: ‘Our much-loved Edinburgh trio of Allan, Andy and Grant will be back together entertaining Edinburgh panto audiences in a spectacular new production of Goldilocks. This is our chance to really pull out all the stops and give audiences something truly spectacular.’

Goldilocks and the Three Bears goes on sale to Friends on Tuesday 8 January, Groups on Tuesday 15 January 2019, and on General Sale from Monday 18 February 2019. Tickets can be booked on 0131 529 6000 or online at
